CE-5 stands for a Close Encounter of the Fifth Kind: contact that begins with us. Where other encounters happen to people, CE-5 is deliberate and bilateral — a group quiets the mind, holds a clear and peaceful intention, and invites contact with the extraterrestrial or interdimensional intelligence that may be present.
No equipment is required, and nothing is asked of you but an open, respectful mind. We treat it as a discipline of attention and coherence, not belief — closer to meditation under the stars than to anything supernatural.

Camperoo was a great success, with about two dozen people in attendance and perfect skies. The DJ music and light show did wonders to synchronize the group and let the universe know that we are a positive group looking for peaceful contact.

Who guides this
A grounded approach to a vast question
Zach Skrede is a U.S. Air Force veteran and the founder of Central Wisconsin CE-5. He trained at the Monroe Institute — the Virginia research center known for its work on consciousness and meditative states — and approaches contact as a discipline of attention and coherence, not a matter of belief.
Since founding the group in 2022, he has guided hundreds of people through CE-5 protocols, group-coherence exercises, and skywatch events. Through plain teaching and shared experience, he invites others to explore the connection between consciousness, a wider reality, and our place in the cosmos.
